This position is responsible for the organization and management of recruitment efforts, the administration of benefits and compensation, and the continual building of relations with our employees. Other administrative tasks and health and safety collaborative efforts may also be required.

What to expect

The hours of work will consistently range from 40-50 hours (9 am–5 pm) per week, depending on varying contracts and timelines—overtime, weekends and/or evenings are typically not required.

REsponsibilities

What's typical

HR Coordinators at MGI will come across and engage with tasks such as:

  • Build meaningful relationships with all employees
  • Create career pathing models and development plans
  • Respond to various inquiries relating to HR policies and procedures
  • Attract talent and maintain that talent including campus/job fairs
  • Maintain job descriptions as jobs change, new positions are created and/or as our company grows
  • Post and sort job advertisements, source resumes, conduct phone pre-screens, arrange interviews, and conduct reference checks
  • Drive employee engagement activities and initiatives
  • Facilitate employee recognition programs
  • Act as a liaison with the payroll team
  • Onboarding and orientating new employees
