MGI Construction was responsible for completing demolition services for DeAngelis Construction Inc., in Alliston, Ontario to complete the redemise of a commercial building. With Zellers being a major anchor store for the Alliston Mill Shopping Centre, the owners needed to reconfigure the plaza once Zellers seized operations. For this, MGI performed an interior and exterior structural demolition. However, a part of the structure was left behind for future development. Construction was completed during mall hours and safety protocols were initiated to allow visitors access to the mall and neighbouring store, Mark's Warehouse.
