As part of its plan to assist the City of Mississauga in efforts to reduce congestion on the QEW, the Ministry of Transportation wanted to be able to plan and extend the service roads. For that, they hired MGI Construction to perform environmental services to remove asbestos and toxic pollutants from the sites. MGI Construction performed the complete demolition of numerous residential units. This residential development demolition project ran alongside the busy QEW and was separated by a concrete sound barrier.
