Two existing buildings were scheduled for demolition in the East Mall region of Etobicoke. One, a one-storey building with an irregular layout and an area of approximately 31,500 square feet. It was previously home to an open concept sales center, as well as shops and storage rooms. The other, a one-storey building with a rectangular layout and an area of approximately 55,000 square feet with was previously vacant. MGI Construction was hired to perform a complete site demolition, hauling debris and recycled material off-site.
