Located at Dundas Street and Dixie Road, the 250,000-square-foot shopping centre is set out to become the new landmark in the Region of Peel. Galleria Centre is expected to create thousands of employment and business opportunities for the local community during construction and after occupancy. MGI began works stripping and disposing of existing asphalt and proceeded to demolish the existing structure on the lot. Soil remediation works followed where 55,000 tonnes of contaminated soil were removed from the site and hauled to a licenced facility.
