When Target decided to pull the plug on its Canadian operations, all of its stores and logistics centers were up for grabs. With the dissolving of one business, Movati saw the opportunity to expand theirs. With Burlington being a fast-growing city, Movati decided to take over the former Target location at the corner of Appleby Line and Upper Middle Road. For Movati Health Club to open the doors at their Burlington location, MGI Construction first performed the demolition part of the existing Target store and quickly moved toward the earthmoving activities associated with the new build.
