This project involved two separate sites for demolition. The demolition procedure for the radio station building included overhead sidewalk protection of the segment of sidewalk bordering the building on the Northside of the property. This scope also included the manual demolition of exterior transite panels, hazardous material, and piping removal. The structural demolition of the metal framework with a hydraulic excavator (attached with grapple or shear). Structural demolition was carried out on the weekend to allow the live hydro equipment to be safely shut down.
